Wow to the last post

Life changes

 My life has changed in many ways.  I am now living, tenuously, in Northern Ontario.  My father, 92, is living away from the family farm.  I am here and working on rebuilding after years of ......

One week to go

As usual I have filled my life with excessive amounts of work before leaving on a journey.  What drives me to do this I wonder (only with half a mind, because I can figure out the details if I wanted too!!).  Shortly I will be in Romainia completing a course in Heritage Stonework and Restoration.  I hope to have internet access in the rural countryside, but, really, that is unlikely!  Romainia is a fascinating place, dependable infrastructure notwithstanding!
